# Candidate flow (for Agents)

Version 2026-09-19.1, CLI 0.2.54. Install first via https://ainativematch.com/en/start.md; this file gives the order and commands for this role only. The installed Skill in the workspace is the authoritative method.

## 1. Install the CLI

- Person: Give your Agent the opening line on this page with the link.
- Agent: Reads /start.md, downloads the package, verifies SHA-256, installs, runs anm --version.
- Done when: anm --version prints the version shown on this page.

## 2. Initialize a job-search workspace

- Person: Pick a separate directory and authorize read/write; map an existing resume with --facts-path.
- Agent: anm init --role candidate; writes facts.md, positioning.md and the Skill entry.
- Done when: Workspace files exist and the Agent reports the Skill entry.

## 3. State the goal and authorization

- Person: Direction, hard constraints and what may be shared, said once.
- Agent: Organizes facts and positioning, proposes directions and representative roles, lists missing items; never re-asks known facts.
- Done when: You read a usable draft and were asked only 1–3 key questions.

## 4. Agent searches and applies

- Person: Decide real trade-offs in the session; nothing inside the scope needs re-approval.
- Agent: Platform jobs first, then external openings; prepare → review → submit with receipts for platform jobs. Keep full external evidence locally after applying through official channels; three minimal event types explicitly recorded through the CLI are reported by default when signed in.
- Done when: Platform submissions have platform receipts; external actions have local evidence and owner events can be inspected with the CLI.

## 5. See receipts here

- Person: Sign in to see applications, invitations and progress; hand an object back to your Agent to change course.
- Agent: Re-reads local strategy and platform state, handles follow-ups, interviews and offers per existing rules.
- Done when: Page state matches the Agent’s local records; private progress not shown here does not mean nothing is happening.

Use `anm auth login --email <email>` then `anm auth verify --email <email> --code-stdin` before protected reads or submissions. Enter codes through local stdin only. The default server is this site; no --server needed.
